Driving through Pennsylvania I spotted a herd just on the top of the hill. All I could see were their silhouettes as they lazily grazed. The pasture was dotted with all these colorful little flowers. It was a relaxing scene as they seemed so at ease with their silence.

This painting was inspired by a true story of a beach friends cat that was lost for 5 years. Eventually it was found astray about 30 miles inland from their home and returned to them. I am not sure what that cat was up to for five years, and how it managed to survive, but I am pretty certain that it is one clever kitty when it came to finding food.

A Tribute to the wild little ponies of Assateague Island, Maryland. One afternoon at about noon as my wife and son were walking up the boarded walkways to get to the beach, 3 wild ponies simply walked by them, nudging a bit, and proceeded to the beach. There they proceeded to raid all the beach bathers lunch boxes and coolers. Walking across blankets as stunned beach goers just sat helplessly and watched their lunches disappear. True story.

The one that got away, and took your hook, line and sinker. Maybe next time because this nasty little guy guy is still out there, daring you to cast his way.

Crazy little fish, ready to snap at your toes. I was inspired to paint this after watching the Baltimore Ravens win the Superbowl. The color purple just inspired me to paint this little football shaped fish. This print is a must for every man cave!

I always wanted to paint dinosaurs on pogo sticks and when Family Time Magazine asked me to feature a DC theme for their cover I knew opportunity was-a-knockin'. staged along the Mt. Vernon Trail wwere I used to bike, I have this family of dinosaurs on their way to the Smithsonian. Maybe while they are there, they could give warning to congress about how extinction often targets organisms that no longer have an effective role in nature. But then the chances of them catching congress at work is probably slim at best. Just saying.

This whimsical little girl fish has eyes for something. And she is determined to get it. I painted this fish over the course of one year, mostly in public at shows and events. I was inspired to paint this one day after seeing a photo of my wife and rediscovering her beautiful eyes. So that was my secret.

This happy-go-lucky little guy just plugs along with a smile on his face. His eyes will follow you around the room until you smile which typically does not take more than a second.

another piece that reinforces my belief that artwork depicting pigs doing anything un-pig-like is just downright comical. In this scene, my little piggy family is off for a day in the big city. Starting in Brooklyn (maybe they have friends there) these little swine get around calling a cab or taking the train and decide to just float on over. This work was featured on the cover of Family Time Magazine.

Ever wonder what might happen when the school locks the doors and everyone leaves for the night? Maybe some magical stuff like this. This is a great gift for teachers, principals, and book lovers.

Love at first site does exist, at least in their part of the ocean. I painted this to celebrate the first time I saw my wife. Her with all her grace and beautiful eyes and lips. Him, very hesitant and cautious. The beautiful damsel with the huge heart and the little clever green guy who thinks too much. But he can't hide his love because of his natural instinct to cloak himself in his surroundings. I love their little dance, and ours.
